Several websites are claiming that former WWE Superstars have been offered new contracts. But none of these stories are true.
Earlier this year, former stars Brock Lesnar, Paul Heyman and Tensai (formerly Prince Albert, Albert and A-Train) were all brought back into the WWE. This has created speculation that over a dozen former names have been offered contracts. All of the reports claim that the wrestler in question has rejected the offer as they are happy doing what they are currently doing.
The only truth to these stories is that some of them asked for their release, and were initially told that the door would be open to a possible return.
The stars named so far include Carlito, MVP, Brian Kendrick, Shelton Benjamin, Monty Brown, Gangrel, Heidenreich, Nathan Jones, Eugene, Rikishi, the Boogeyman and Kenny Dykstra. Again, the WWE has shown no interest in any of these people at this time.
