Slight update: The returning World Champion is likely to be someone on the current roster, but not A.J. Styles. Speculation on Twitter is that the reference is to either Sting or Kurt Angle. Many are expecting Angle to be cleared to compete on this week's show, regardless of his condition.

What a bummer ! I like Sting and Angle but i was expecting a former world champion from AAA, NJPW or NWA since they worked with TNA sometimes, that would have been a surprise and would have brought fresh blood to the roster.
