The future of Aces N Eights is unknown right now.

The stable obviously will not continue as a group anymore. They were forced to disband because of the stipulation on Mr. Anderson and Bully Ray’s match on the ‘Hardcore Justice’ edition of Impact. But the fate of the members is currently unknown.

Both Bully Ray and Mr. Anderson will continue to be pushed as top-tier stars. One of them will feud over the TNA World Heavyweight Championship, but this will depend on who wins the current tournament. Ray’s current storyline will build towards his forthcoming match against House Of Hardcore founder Tommy Dreamer.

The onscreen relationship with Bully Ray and Brooke Tessmacher will continue for now. The main reason for the storyline ever happening was because of the issues TNA had with Brooke Hogan. They feel that Brooke (Tessmacher) was improving greatly in the ring before she became a valet again, so they will want any storyline that will see her work more matches than she has been recently.

Taz’ contract was due to expire in mid-October, but he is still doing commentary for TNA shows. This implies that he has a new contract and will stay with the company.

Knux was brought into the company after heavy persuasion from Taz. He was given a temporary deal to portray an unknown member of Aces N Eights before being offered a new contract. There are no plans for him currently, but TNA will likely hold on to him.

Garrett Bischoff has not made up his mind yet. Many expect him to leave in January because his father, Eric Bischoff, is leaving too. But the decision is strictly Garrett’s. There was a lot of heat on Garrett in the beginning. The general feeling was that he was only brought in because of who his father was, and then they both tried to keep their family connection a secret. Since then, Garrett has become well-liked within the company. Both management and the locker room see him as someone who takes his training seriously and is improving in the ring. Garrett will be welcome to stay if he wishes to.

Wes Brisco’s job is also safe for now, but there are no plans for him. There was talk of him reforming his tag team with Garrett Bischoff, but this depends on Garrett agreeing to stay. If not, the TNA will look for something else to do with Brisco.

D’Lo Brown and Devon will not be back in any capacity. Both of them were released as cost-cutting measures, and were not happy about how this was dealt with.

There has been talk about bringing DOC back, but TNA have not made any serious moves towards this yet.
