It's really simple. I will describe the plot to a well-known movie. You have to guess what it is.

<blockquote class='quote\\_blockquote'><dl><dt>Film plot</dt><dd> </dd></dl><div>
A father is widowed after his wife and children are killed. Years later, his last remaining child is kipnapped. With the help of a mentally challenged stranger, they attempt to rescue his son.

The film was released in 2003.

The entire movie is set in and around Australia. The main character is half-white. He is said to be a clown, but only knows one joke.

<blockquote class='quote\\_blockquote'><dl><dt>Hint #2</dt><dd> </dd></dl><div>
It is one of the bloodiest films ever, with 400 deaths in just one scene.

There is a shark in it. Three sharks, in fact.

Congratulations KWG!

The next one is from 1984.

<blockquote class='quote\\_blockquote'><dl><dt>Movie Plot</dt><dd> </dd></dl><div>
In a city prone to riots, the number of law enforcement personal is on a steady decline. One slacker is forced to join the fight, or face imprisonment himself. He quickly discovers that it is not just the city that is a hotbed of elitist tension. He becomes the unwitting leader of those who have been discriminated against based on race, gender, social status and mental health. Not only must he protect the city from a riot that could happen at any moment, but he must protect his new friends from his own force.

<blockquote class='quote\\_blockquote'><dl><dt>Hint #1</dt><dd> </dd></dl><div>
While this film was rated R/18, all of the cinema release sequels were rated PG.

<blockquote class='quote\\_blockquote'><dl><dt>Hint #2</dt><dd> </dd></dl><div>
Minor characters are showcased more than the film's actual antagonist.
[/quote]

<blockquote class='quote\\_blockquote'><dl><dt>Hint #3</dt><dd> </dd></dl><div>
The hero does not play a significant role in defeating the bad guys. In fact, the first and second film sees him getting abducted, and needing to be rescued by his colleagues.

Once again, KWG!

This was released in 2001.

<blockquote class='quote\\_blockquote'><dl><dt>Movie plot</dt><dd> </dd></dl><div>
Two short guys find someone's lost property. They try to hand it over to the authorities, but they don't want to take responsibility for it. They are told to take it into a bad neighbourhood and drop it into a puddle. Just about everybody, including the original owner, tries to kill them to get it back. A major turf war breaks out.
