How do you watch?

I recently have found a few alternatives for cable and satellite TV and I figured I would share them with you guys.

I've managed to cut down my television and internet bill from roughly $160 dollars a month to $46.50 a month, no joke.

Mostly, due to this wonderful machine (pic is life-size):

This is a Roku box. It plays everything I could possibly need, whether off the internet, on my hard-drive, or just Netflix and Hulu Plus.

It has literally hundreds of channels you can access, some legal, some not, some adult, some pirating stuff. The point is, I can now watch all me media on my television, even the episodes I pirate. No more watching anything on my computer screen!

Roku's site: http://www.roku.com/

That's what I do. That's how I watch my stuff, what do you guys use?

I dont have Sky or broadband TV, as I just use my freeview, which is in-built in my HD TV.

However, this sounds fantastic. I just checked out the site and I can get this in the UK too, so will be investing in one of these on my next pay day. Thanks for the link bro.

The stuff I download I stream to my Xbox360 using PS3 Media Server it will stream any file type.
(Yes it works on the 360 perfect)

I use a lot of streaming services such as Amazon Prime & Netflix through the 360, but that thing looks awesome as hell. I think I will check it out asap.

Virgin media. Fantastic, never let me down and don't destroy my monthly bill.

Hey, this is interesting, I have actually been recently shopping around for ways to reduce my cable bill (I'm paying about $180 a month for phone/internet/cable). $46.50 sounds pretty damn sweet, I have to say! :eek:k thanks for sharing, I'll definitely look into this!
