how many cheat codes can you add at one time?

I have about 13, and every time I try and add a new one it overwrites over another code I already have, does anyone know what's up?

I am a noober with this...

You need to hit the "new cheat" button every time you want to add a new one, otherwise it just over-writes the last one you put in.
