I dont have this problem bro, so cant give you a clear answer. When you are saying " Im saving the files". Are you referring in Photoshop? You need to make sure they are saved in PNG and that you have merged/flattened the layers that you are using. If its not that, then im not sure buddy.

Also make sure other programs are not using the same image file you are trying to save.

No cowboy, it's not opened in other programs.

tnafan, it says: "Could not save as ....*file name*..because the file is locked. Use the "Properties" command in the Windows Explorer to unlock the file"

Ahh right ok, makesure that the PNG file in PS has been merged down and then double click the merged file and it should say layer 0, click ok. Then try and save the file bro.

I think I know what your problem is first delete everything to do with pj64 just keep your rom after that with that file you got extract it to your desk top make a folder name it games and put your rom in it and put it in the pj64 folder on your desktop the file you got dose not need to be installed (dont forget to uninstall the old one) if you work off your desktop windows usually won't fuck with you I had a similar problem.

Umm ok, you may need to redump the same textures you used for the mod, and just open PS and paste over the modded file onto the dumped file. Save as PNG and it should show up in game. Make sure you have "Check for Hires textures" ticked.

And like I said before, post screencaps of you settings so we can help you more efficiently! This is drawing itself out entirely too much.

PADLOCK - Locked Layers.

A common explanation for this problem is as follows: -

If a layer has been locked or flattened in Photoshop, it prevents the texture from showing in game.

Make sure that the layer isn't flattened / locked. To check this, look for a padlock symbol next to the layer on the layer window.
Padlocks are bad.

If there is a padlock, copy and paste or duplicate the layer so that you have 2 layers, then delete the layer with the padlock and save.

This usually happens when you select the "Flatten Image" option when combining layers.

To avoid this, select either the "Merge Down" or "Merge Visible" option.

In case you forgot, you said it in a completely different thread. Then, instead of listening to me, you just started a whole new thread, and it has come down to the same thing. This thread could have been done with in 4 posts, tops.
