Hugh Jackman calling quits with Wolverine?

Personally I can not see anyone else playing him, but it will happen. Personally I would love to see him go out in Xmen:Apocalypse or a future film as time travelling Cable. I just feel he is Wolverine vise-versa. Thoughts on who could replace him when he calls it quits?

There were also rumors about Robert Downey Junior that may not continue as Iron Man for long and who would be nice to replace him.
I don't think those are great ideas, some people may say that the characters matter and not the actor but the actors are partof the success of the character.
I don't see anyone else taking these roles at the moment and think they shouldn't be recasted too soon after the actual actors leave, there are enough characters in the Marvel/X-men universes to build a new face for the franchises as you pointed out with Cable.
