Ice Age 4: Continental Drift - First Look

The thing that worries me is that the film as a whole may not be too good. They now have far too many main characters, none of which can be killed off.
With that being said, I detested Ice Age 2 because there were far too many main characters. New people had to be introduced and established, with backgrounds. Established characters needed to be developed. And an entire adventure had to unfold. In my opinion, it failed. Badly.
It was for those reasons that I didn't want to see Ice Age 3. But I watched it with friends when it came out on DVD, and actually enjoyed it. So I don't know how to feel about this new one.
