First lets talk about my discovery. My discovery is that I have been able to get nike the bikes tool to work with the PSP version (the tool to modify wrestler stats, name etc.) With that being said you will not need a gamesave for my hack and this hack will work on any CFW/OFW out there.

I am the first to do it lol, was difficult to work out, but i am the Original and the first SVR Hacker for PSP who paved the way for other PSP hackers of SVR so it had to be done.

Nice!

Can you tell me what you did?

If you made anything to add PSP support to svredit I'd be glad to add it to the official release. :D

You should at least share your finds with Nike, since it is HIS editor that you used!

And after this strange behavior, you send me a PM saying:
"hey dude whats the password for your mod pack and what model did you use for lesnar?"

First, 'dude whats the password' does not sound very polite,
Second, should i answer 'Dude, i wanna keep it to my self for a while, dont wanna spoon food 100s of mods to you, try making them yourself',
or should i give you the password ?

I prefer to give you the password (check your PM), and suggest that you also share your finds with at least Nike.
i have actually shared enough of my findings at this site and on other sites. I have contributed to this site a lot and some things need to be found out by themselves. I can't keep on spoon feeding everyone on how to do this. Way too many leeches!

For everything i use i always give credit! for your next question about "dude" it means a sign of friendship. All people i talk to i call dude, if they call me dude back i have no problem. I am just a chilled out guy.

also about andy releasing tutorials, i knew how to import models before SVR2010 began modding. I used nikes tool as it saves time and i always credit him for it.

one more thing you don't need to mod the editor in any way. Its common sense if you know how the PSP version works to get the editor to work with it.

If you remember, you used my mods without permission in your youtube videos, and not even mentioned they were made by me. Only when i complained you added my name.
And now you lecture about 'credit', 'leeches', 'spoon feed'...

Also you say 'some things need to be found out by themselves.'
Are you serious???
I gave you the password for my mods, but i maybe i should tell you 'some mods need to be created by yourself' ?

In my opinion such behavior is not appropriate for OSR.

I agree with 80las and Nike. Looks bud, you are a great contributor to OSR and appreciate that!! However, this kind of attitude is not something I appreciate towards other members and basically contridicting yourself, when you clearly have apati's mods in your save. Also alot of the findings of SvR are from the guys like Tekken, Nike and so forth and sharing is something that should be done for the benefit of any moddification. No one here spoonfeeds or expects you to perform miracles, just some respect towards the guys who made this possible, and no doubt you are a factor too with your PSP hacks, they are great.

I ask you sincerely to reframe from getting so uptight!! We are laid back at OSR and aslong as people show respect to each other, it is returned back.

Wow.

See... this is the kind of shit that kills communities.

Someone, who has a skill that comes easy to them, gets condescending because other people do not have the same knowledge or intuition.

Sharing findings isn't 'spoonfeeding', posting tutorials isn't 'spoonfeeding', spoonfeeding is doing something for someone who could do it on their own, being as the proper information is posted for them to figure it out.

Why the hell do so many wrestling game modders get up in arms about "leeches"? Do you people even realize what a leech is? A "leech", is more often than not... just someone who wants to play the game and the mods and go about their day. Not everyone that discovers modding or hacking should be obliged to do it, themselves, just like how everyone who goes and buys a new PS3 or XBOX 360 game isn't obligated to write a thank you letter to all the original programmers before they even get to play the damn thing.

Hey, it is up to you to share whatever you want, however, a lot of our best SvR modders have been kind enough to give you their passwords, and never once bitched about spoonfeeding anyone.

As long as videogame modding exists, there is going to be the type to do none of the work, and try to take credit for it. Do you know who the people are that are fooled by their lies? Idiots. Fucking mouthbreathing idiots. So, who cares if idiot #1 thinks that idiot #2 made something that they didn't? Is this a cancer cure we are working on, here? Oh, it isn't? Then why the hell are people treating it like this?

No offense, but I guarantee that my mods and work have been stolen a thousand times more than yours, man, and yet............ do you see me giving a fuck? Nope. I'll tell you why:

I have a very satisfying life in the real world.

I don't sweat small stuff like this, because when people do, it narrows the community and what it could be capable of.... and I'm just not that stupid to let it happen.
:B-) Suit yourself.

i don't wanna give this out yet, i wanna keep it to myself for a while, basically done wanna spoon food no more
Hey mate...

I appreciate the time you put into hacking since I know how much time and effort it actually takes. Personally, right now I have too many simultaneous projects to put all my free time into finding out certain hacks. Personally I don't even care if the editor has PSP support since I don't even own a PSP however many people have asked me to add support so if you could help me with that it would only benefit the PSP hacking community.

In my opinion the best way to get the modding community to grow and guys like you and me that actually find out and does the actual hacking to get something back by getting more mods to download from others like 80las is to make the hacking as public and easy to do as possible so that more people learn and manages to do it. And your work will be more appreciated aswell when more people benefit from it. That's my opinion on the matter.

So me asking that question was more out of curiosity. I actually don't even care if the editor works for PSP since I don't have one, just wanted to help the PSP hacking community. I won't waste time finding that out either since I personally have no benefit in that. If you call that spoon feeding, that's your problem.

However, in my opinion you have the ability to help the entire SVR modding community, not just the PSP part since the game structure is similar across platforms, but it's all up to you to choose to do so.

Without brienj choosing to make tutorials for the hacks he found out on the XBOX360 I wouldn't have been able to create the PS2 editor. I'm unbelievably thankful to him for that.

Making the editor was my way to give something back. A community grows and gets better if people help eachother out. Some people will always leech, but WTF. If every tenth guy who downloads actually creates a quality mod in return or a quality moveset, it's worth it in my opinion. And the more people who can mod, the more people will create quality stuff.

But I don't want to get into some crap-throwing contest so I'll leave it at that.

You choose to do what you wish and that is your right.

And thanks for the things that you have contributed.

Yeah, one more thing.
When you use my editor for any of your published hacks (youtube, download, so on...) I expect you to give credit for using it which I'm sure you will mate.

I agree with Nike and Flying Toaster. And as some ppl have said before, its just modding a game, it is not something of real importance.

I also dont care about PSP, if you dont want to share your finds, not many will care
but if you chose to share, some may find it helpful.

Well some of the things he shares benefits other consoles aswell.

For example arena selection image changes, show image changes and so on, since the games are not so different.

This thing only benefits the PSP community so I don't care that much really more than it would be nice not having to answer the same question to add PSP support to the editor over and over.

<big>For as long as I have been acquainted with this "boy" who calls himself jarni, I've always noticed his constant catering to his ego. In fact, the first time when I came into contact with this "boy" was when he and his ego tried to steamroll me over; back then, it was the spring in the year of our lord '09. It was back then when I was but a mere struggling young university student who, in his spare time, would partake in the activities of leisure video game hacking, that this "boy" calling himself jarni, janzeb as i new him back then, would have the audacity to claim that there was but no other who could procure the necessary aptitude which qualifies them to hack the WWE games of the said times belonging to the portable station of play, the PSP as it was known. His ego would lead him to make bold claims and attacks on my very character and nature, quite openly might I say, slandering my good name in front of the audience of the Youtube and continuing its way towards the forums of a certain Code-X. His claims that I was but a mere hack, a simple swindler and nothing more, who had burglarized from him one of his many prized possessions, a save data containing the likes of a moveset for one former, deceased and controversial in his own right, Sir Christopher Benoit. Yes. I shall never forget those days; <big>his claims that "some things need to be found out by themselves" contradict to the manner of his actions and conduct towards myself</big> during those dark days. I shall never forget the events that unfolded those very days. I shall never...for 'tis right here</big> :D

http://www.cdxnetwork.com/forum/index.php??topic=84438-people-watch-out-for-this-guy/

<big>But alas, I find not much has changed with this one; his creation of this topic simply created for his very ego, as if for him to boast in claim of something new. Yet he himself also reveals that <big>he has done nothing new, he has not added anything of significance to that which already is</big>. He is merely presenting common sense as he himself expresses. But I wonder then, does common sense need its own topic? Are we as a whole so uncommon that we no longer are familiar with the commonness presented before us? Perhaps. Or is it that "dude" just crazy?</big>

^o) BTW still haven't gotten an apology ;)

I think we should introduce "Post of the month" for our OSR monthly examinations. This will win it, hands down IMO. AMAZING! :bb:
