Morale is said to be much happier in TNA because everyone believes that Hulk Hogan is finally gone.
It was recently reported that Hogan had been accepted a high-money offer to come back. However, something may have fallen through and the deal is not yet complete. It seems that Hogan had been trying to play TNA and WWE off one another to get the most money possible. While TNA took the bait, the WWE did not. Hogan wants to return to the WWE, but neither company is offering close to the money that he wants.
TNA wrestlers have been warned that if they are asked in outside interviews, they must say that they want Hogan back in TNA. The feeling is if wrestlers look like they support Hogan, then fans are more likely to if he signs. But the actual response is that almost everyone is happy that Hogan is gone.
As previously reported, the TNA roster has been informed that Eric Bischoff is now working from home. There are people who are happy for Bischoff to stay, but not if he is in a position of control, or if it means having to have Hogan back. While some of the creative team want to bring Bischoff back as an onscreen authority figure. No one is expecting to see Bischoff again, and that he is practically finished with the company. His contract expires in early January.
TNA management recently held a meeting with the wrestlers and made several announcements. This included the 24-7 action initiative and returning tapings to Orlando. These were ideas that Hogan was dead against. The fact that Dixie is pushing ahead with these is a sign that Hogan is not coming back.
It was also implied that some of the people who were released in the Hogan area may get new contracts. Everyone is aware that they company is saving a lot of money now that they no longer have to pay Hulk or Brooke Hogan. The performers were originally fired to save money, but they may be brought back to improve the product.
