<table><tr><td>JR on why so many young 'cookie cutter' wrestlers?
Likely many reasons...a lack of 'it'...not enough confidence in their own abilities to take needed chances...no viable, weekly territories to help them develop the needed 5 or so years. Or, it could be how they are coached or respond to their coaching. It could be many things or combinations of factors. I happen to think that FCW has some outstanding prospects currently in training and how they respond and adapt when they are called up remains to be seen.
TDK's Take:
I'm not a big JR booster, but I do think he makes an interesting point here regarding the rise of Vince's empire and the loss of the territorial system. Back in the day, young talent had the opportunity to learn, grow and develop before being thrust onto the national stage. Many of them even got to work as something more than a mid-carder - thereby gaining valuable headline experience - in the smaller territories. At the risk of reminiscing, it seems something valuable may have been lost.</td><td>
