Michael 'P.S.' Hayes did NOT pressure Rosa Mendes into drinking.
As reported by CBV already, Hayes' current suspension is for drinking with Mendes days after her stint in rehab.
Some of you may not think that this is a big deal, but Mendes has had a long history of alcohol abuse. She had been sent to rehab after a major relapse earlier this year. While she remained sober for the full 60-day course, it was far too soon for someone with her condition to start drinking again, and to take as much as she did. Mendes knows that she has issues with drinking too much and not knowing when to stop. If she was going to be able to get her addiction under control, she would have needed to stay alcohol free for longer.
Hayes, on the other hand, knew about her condition too well. Considering how much work he has had with wrestlers in this situation, he should have known better. While he is not responsible for Mendes drinking, joining her was inappropriate as it encouraged her to drink again.
Hayes is expected to be back with the company soon. However, his entry into the 2014 Hall Of Fame is still in question.
As for Mendes, it is not known how the WWE has chosen to deal with her. The WWE recently decided to cut down on how often non-wrestling stars are used, and Mendes is seldom in a match anyway. She was dropped from the Miz - Fandango feud, as this was meant to lead to a feud between Summer Rae and herself. Either way, the WWE will be keeping a close eye on her condition, and encouraging her to keep on track with her recovery.
