It all appears the same in the portal. I'm changing the title back to my original edit.

Don't change it, again. The entire title can be seen from the board's portal.

I don't how many times I've had to tell people, DO NOT PUT THE SPOILER IN THE TITLE! IT STILL APPEARS ON THE BOARD! :stoppit

Guys, this spoiler would be significant if there were more than two (!!!) teams in WWE. When there's no tag team division - those belts worth nothing.

Wow! How could I forget! Well, I remember times, when they had over a dozen teams. And realy great teams. Then the tag team championship was prestigious.

2000 was possibly the best year for tag teams.

Edge & Christian
Hardy Boyz (Matt Hardy & Jeff Hardy)
Dudley Boyz (Bubba Ray Dudley & D-Von Dudley)
Lo Down (D'Lo Brown & Chaz Warrington)
Right to Censor (Mr. Buchanan & The Goodfather)
Right to Censor (Mr. Venis & Steven Richards)
T&A (Test & Albert)
APA (Bradshaw & Faarooq)
DeGeneration-X (X-Pac & Road Dogg)
Road Dogg & K-Kwik
The Radicals (Perry Saturn & one other radical)
Headbangers (Mosh & Thrasher)
Too Cool (Scotty 2 Hotty & Grandmaster Sexay)

AND I am missing some. They weren't all active at the same time, but there was always a lot of competition going.

Only 5 of those teams are legit in my view. Just because 2000 had a great deal of teams doesn't mean that they were legit. I have no idea what the hell "Lo Down" is, RTC was more of a stable, Radicals were mixed, and only 4-5 of those teams held tag gold in 2000. But compared to today's, it's waaaaaaaay better.

I don't get your point. 4 or 5 legit teams is better than 4 or 5 at a stretch. Only 5 teams held the titles in 2011, and the tag team division was much smaller.

A title doesn't make a champion. And it doesn't make someone legitamite. I mean, lets just look at the WWE champions.

Year WWE Title World Title

2001 Kurt Angle Scott Steiner
Rock Booker T
Steve Austin Rock
Chris Jericho Chris Jericho
Kurt Angle

2006 John Cena Batista
Edge Kurt Angle
Rob Van Dam Rey Mysterio
Booker T

2011 Miz Edge
John Cena Christian
CM Punk Randy Orton
Alberto Del Rio Mark Henry
Big Show
Daniel Bryan

Quite a contrast, don't you think? A title doesn't make some legitamite. Just because Edge and Christian dominated the tag team division in 2000, it doesn't mean that the other teams weren't viable competition. But for the Colons to come out of nowhere and beat Air Boom is not impressive, it is inevitable.

Right to Censor formed two tag teams. One team won the gold, and the other aimed to stave off other contenders so that the main tag team could retain the titles.

Although I take your point about Lo Down. They rarely lost but rarely appeared on RAW or SmackDown.

Actually, I ment the late 80-s - early 90-s. For example, one of Survivor Series events (89 or 88, if I'm not mistaken) featured a match 5 tag teams vs 5 tag teams, and there were another teams involved in other matches.

Concerning the whole "only 5 of these teams are legitimate things....
First off, titles do not make someone legitimate. Ask Dan Marino.

Second off, even though D-Lo's team hardly ever on Raw, they were a legitimate tag team, they just happen to be on the bottom rung. Which happens in singles competition, as well.

However, WWE has been ebbing out their tag team division for quite some time. I'd be surprised if they even have it in ten years.

That about sums it up...

When you've only got a handful of teams, everybody's bound to get the belts eventually. All it does is cheapen the titles.
