Multiple Specials code

Not too long ago, I came across this code called the "Multiple Specials" code, where you can do a second finisher (like in VPW2) and steal what move's in your opponents data. But unfortunately for me, I can't get the code to work. It might have something to do with the version of Project 64 I'm using (since the code is at least 6 years old), but I'm not sure. If anybody can tell me what's the problem, that'd be very much appreciated. Thank you. ^^
