need some help & john cena wip

so i was bored and didn't feel like finishing my twc5 rock mod so i decided to try and mod wwf no mercy using cbv's creators kit because well it's a awesome mod, and i wanted to see if i could contribute to it in the future, however after trying my hand at modding nm well i don't think that's going to happen for a while lol, so my question is could anyone link me to a solid tutorial on texture moding (i did a search and didn't find anything on the subject )

I would also suggest you to check out PES face making tutorial on Youtube, it will help you alot.

so I've been following the tutorials cbv suggested, HIW's modding to be more specific and I've been enjoying making the john cena face, but 2 quick questions


1. in the tutorial it says i can preview all the edits i do to a texture if i just change the texture in game to something else and switch back bu that's not happening, i have to turn project 64 on and off to see the results i'm using every setting as default , so can anyone help me out with this one?

2. i'm getting a bit confused as to what textures are what as dumping them dumps everything i touch on screen?





and last but not least does this face mod look any good any advice ect.

To answer the first question, that's only for 1.6.

To answer the second, I would make his face just a tiny bit smaller, so it look natural.
