Natalya Neidhart, granddaughter to wrestling icon Stu Hart, claims that Canada now recognises Hart's home as a Historical Heritage site.
The house is famous for being the childhood home of both Bret and Owen Hart. But it also the location of the infamous 'Hart Family Dungeon' training facility.
For decades, Stu would train aspiring professional wrestlers in the basement of his house. Many of the biggest names in Canadian wrestling spent time in that basement. These include Chris Benoit, Lance Storm. Dynamite Kid and the men of the Hart family.
Stu is the father of Bret, Owen, Keith and Bruce, who were all professional wrestlers. Both 'British Bulldog' Davey Boy Smith and Jim 'The Anvil' Neidhart married two of Stu's daughters. This makes Stu a direct grandparent to Natalya and Harry 'David Hart' Smith. Dynamite Kid is a cousin to British Bulldog, and Roddy Piper is alleged to be a cousin the Hart brothers.
