For the second year in a row, the Rey Mysterio vs Sin Cara match has been dropped from WrestleMania. So too, they have given up hope of breaking the record for most people wearing masks at a public gathering.
However, the new plan is to break the world record for world's biggest Harlem Shake. There is already talk of having Santino Marella, Great Khali, Hornswoggle, Brodus Clay and Tensai and an undetermined celebrity to be involved with this.
There has been hope that Sin Cara would become the WWE's new Hispanic star, and Mysterio would pass the torch to him. Cara had been placed into a tag team with Mysterio to set up the match, so Cara can improve his English and in-ring skill, and to hide the seriousness of Mysterio's injuries. But the WWE realised at the start of the year that Cara is just not improving and is nowhere near ready for a singles push, let alone a main event push.
Also, they don't feel like they need Cara to become the major star now that Alberto Del Rio is fulfilling the role better than expected.
