As seen on Raw, the plans for a black major champion has been put on hold.

Big E Langston defeated Curtis Axel to become the Intercontinental Champion on Raw. It is likely that Langston will remain in the division for the foreseeable future.

R-Truth was reunited with his former tag team partner Xavier Woods. Truth and Woods teamed for one title defense in TNA wrestling, dubbed 'Truth & Consequences'. The pair will be pushed as a tag team from now on. There was some talk about building Woods to become a main eventer, but the feeling is that he is far too small. There were also plans to push R-Truth too, but the WWE does not feel like Truth went far enough with his recent push. The WWE is overlooking the fact that Truth is a grandslam holder in TNA, having been a former NWA World Heavyweight Champion. If Truth did win a major title, he would become a grandslam champion in WWE too.

Kofi Kingston will be getting the highest push from now on, even though creative are said to be "done" with his character. The feeling is that Kingston has dominated the mid-card since joining the company, and has won each of the lower titles too often to make further title wins significant. Creative believes that they have gone as far as they can with Kingston without making major changes or turning him heel. The second option has been pitched to Vince McMahon frequently, but McMahon does not think that Kingston would be marketable as a heel. Becoming a heel would require Kingston to dump much of his current moveset.
