Two cancelled matches may now be happening at WrestleMania XXX.
The WWE had planned to have Big E Langston take on Mark Henry at Summerslam. But this was before the change of direction that led to Henry competing for the WWE Championship at Money In The Bank. The plan was to turn Henry face after Extreme Rules and then feud with Dolph Ziggler for the World Championship. He would fail to win the title because of Langston, so the two would have a showdown at SummerSlam. But Ziggler's concussion and sudden popularity led to these plans being scrapped. Also, Henry took a month out without notice after Extreme Rules.
Another match that might happen is Rey Mysterio vs Sin Cara. This had been discussed for WrestleManias 28 and 29, but injuries to both men stopped the match from happening. Mysterio just returned from injury, but is meant to be working a lighter workload to safe his knees. Fans have noticed that Mysterio has been having problems with his legs since returning. Cara is currently injured but is due back soon.
We recently reported on how the WWE were giving up on Cara because of how often he gets injured and his habit of botching. The WWE have noticed that his merchandise sells rather well when he is inactive. Sin Cara's merchandise sells better when he is not on a show. The WWE are taking this as a sign that Cara is actually quite popular with young fans and may have potential to become a big star after all. There has also been talk of attempting to break the world record for most people wearing masks at a public event during this match.
