During a ZERO-1 Show on December 24, Daichi Hashimoto suffered a fractured left forearm. The doctors have forbidden Daichi to take part in the show of NJPW. Fully recovery from his injury will take 2 months. To replace Daichi Hashimoto, the ZERO-1 has sent its president, The legendary Shinjiro Otani, The Last J-Crown Champion in history.
For the for the record, the father Daichi, Shinya Hashimoto, who died back in 2005, is actually the co-founder of the Pro Wrestling ZERO-1 (alongside Shinjiro Otani)
A second match was changed, it is the opening match, Akebono and Bob Sapp are grafted respectively Manabu Nakanishi & Strong Man MVP, and team CHAOS (Toru Yano, Takashi Iizuka & Yujiro Takahashi).
