No Mercy Mall

Hey chaps,

So I've been around the No Mercy clique since the very early days. I recently 'returned' and got back into Wrastlin'. I posed the question over at NMZ that would not a website focused on entirely dedicating solid hosting and maybe a large library be more suited towards No Mercy modding considering skin & hack links are dead. Regardless - one of my companies is in a social affiliation with EdgeHosting, which means that I have access to their highest package for Free. This means 100% uptime of every mod/hack/resource ever, for Free. Over the past few days I've been posting over at NMZ my progress on the website/library. Here's the design structure behind it - it's scripted from ground up, so any customisation the people need, is relatively easy.

I released a resource package for people that want too add their mods to the library yesterday I believe - Also! If you don't have the time to do this, I can spare some of my spare time to do it for you, if you give me permission. Here's the download package with tutorials and templates.

Thanks a lot man, and you're welcome. A lot of fantastic mods/skins have dead links which is a crying shame. So if people have those mods that are dead links, this would be a great opportunity to get them back up for everyone else!

Tons of mods with working links there my man. CBV is really building a strong collection of mods, plus he has a paid mediafire account so links will stay alive for a long time.

Yeah I've checked a few of them out, there's a downside to that is some of the mods also have their images disabled/deleted, which sort of forces a person to download it to view it - The upside of that is they don't have to bother with avatars and previews like my NMM, but that's an entirely cosmetic feature heh - Power to them though, the more stronger the links, the better the modding scene benefits!

Totally forgot about this project. I found it on my external drive earlier and gave it some work, took it from the initial design above into an actual working site. Here's it in its current state. Does everything I want it, will load all wrestlers in the database with appropriate information in the avatars, clicking the icon will open the box below and display all information and images for that skin. If people want to contribute to this project, I can hook up an SVN repository or Github server.

Alright, I've uploaded everything I have so far to a github server located here. I use WAMP, to host my localhost server and mysql databases. I'll commit my SQL table for testing purposes in a minute to the repo.

Edit:

Uploaded it. Baring in mind there's a lot of crap that's just thrown together like the pagination. I want to try and build a complex module for the databases' environment like how I'm developing the class WrestlerSkinChild(); The way I pull each wrestler skin per click on avatar is just horrendous and very hacky, needs a better alternative.

Overhauled how we approach the dropdown boxes for all wrestler skin information. It will render and function like Google Images, smother and cleaner transition.

sorry to bump this, but i have created a wiki for no mercy on wikia, and it would be so great and i would totally mark out if you fine folks here at OSR would contribute your knowledge and expertise to making it the best, all inclusive, everything-no-mercy recource that i know it can be.

I decided to gut the old build of the site, so that SVN is pretty out of date now. There were numerous errors with old one (because it was rushed) however the new one actually works as planned. Image below is it working in it's current state - right now it's only working for wrestler skins/mods, I'm building the back-end right now for the rest of the site. The Development Kit for people wanting to place their skin on the site is linked below - please follow the strict guidelines and tutorials for the representation of your skin else I will decline any that don't fit the criteria (it isn't too hard, just follow the layout).
