No Mercy on PJ64 won't work

Last few months or so I've had a problem trying to get this game to work. Half the time Pj64 1.6 starts the game but then an error occurs and I have to try again. It does the same with the other AKI wrestling games. What is strange is all the other non wrestling games I have work fine.

Anyone know what may be the problem? Should I get a new copy of No Mercy? I think I have tried that all ready though.

You need to be more specific.

What kind of error? What are your settings? Have you tried a clean install of PJ.64 after deleting your old one? I can't give you any advice based on the information provided.

I think it's the Rice video plug in 6.1.4. I used another plugin and the game worked fine so that must be it.

Edit:

It wasn't the plug in. It did work then went back to not working. I put all the settings as demonstrated in the Legends 2 download and after starting it up again 4 times it has worked (PJ64 not the Legends mod, I don't have it in my game).

What puzzles me is why it worked fine for the longest time and now I have to change settings to get it to work. Whatever though it works.
