Before the movie :

I wanted to watch this movie for some time and just had the time this afternoon. I've only seen two movies by Jaume Collet-Serra, Orphan/Esther and Unknown (with Liam Neeson) and i enjoyed both so Non-stop caught my attention when i first heard about it.

Movie Plot :

Bill Marks is an Us air marshall with alcohol problems since his daughter's death and divorce with his wife.
During a flight from New York to London he receives messages on his cellphone which is supposed to be a secure line, he must transfer 150 millions dollars on a bank account or someone will be killed every 20 minutes.
Everything is made to make Bill guilty of hijacking the plane and even his superiors believe he is the terrorist, to find the real one he will need help from passengers and plane personnel but who can really be trusted ?

My impressions :

+ The idea of displaying the text messages dynamically on screen instead of something like a subtitle.
+ The movie tricks you in believing a character is guilty then another one and so on.
+ Julianne Moore's character is very likeable.

- Bill Marks' backstory is too cliché.
- Julianne Moore's character is busting everyone's balls to have a seat near a window, the explanation to this is a try to make a tearjerker, we already have sympathy for the character and it's useless to add that.

To conclude, i don't really like the backstories of both main good characters even if Bill's one is used in medias to make him look guilty but the main interest of the movie is the investigation and it really caught me.
There was not a time where i got bored or lost interest, without being a must see the movie is well done and won't let you down if you wanted to watch it.
