PWInsider is claiming that Bully Ray has signed a new contract with TNA.

The contract covers Ray for two roles; one as an in-ring performer, and one as an agent. Ray had previously worked as an agent in the original ECW, but had also taken on the role in TNA. TNA Management were trying to sign Ray to a new contract as a performer, hoping that he would still fulfill the agent role voluntarily (i.e. without extra pay). He was also originally asked to take a pay cut. This new contract does offer Ray payment for both roles, but there is no indication to how much he is being paid.

As previously reported, Devon has NOT signed a new contract. Like Ray, he had also taken on a backstage role. Devon had been serving as a trainer and working heavily with younger talents. Again, Devon was asked to take a pay cut, and serve in his other role voluntarily. Rumour has it that Devon was offered much less money than Ray. A deal was not made, and Devon has since left the company. Devon is still currently the TNA Television Champion.

Chris Sabin is said to be looking to be released from his contract too. He is waiting for his current contract to expire before moving on. This had been anticipated for a long time as people very close to Sabin have also very recently left the company. His long-time tag team partner Alex Shelley left to accept contracts elsewhere, specifically Dragon Gate USA. And Sabin's girlfriend Velvet Sky also recently quit TNA.

Devon may continue to use the name Devon as it is also how his real first name is spelled. He may also use the name 'Team 3D' as he and Bully Ray share the copyright. He may not use the name 'Brother Devon' as it is owned by TNA Wrestling.

If Devon returns to WWE, he may use one of his former monikers of D'Von Dudley, D-Von Dudley or Reverend D-Von.

Chris Sabin and Alex Shelley own the rights to their own ring names, and may continue to use them. But TNA owns the rights to the name 'Motor City Machine Guns'. However, they may revert back to their former tag team name of Murder City Machine Guns.

TNA owns the names 'Velvet Sky', 'Angelina Love', 'The Beautiful People' and 'Velvet-Love Entertainment'. However, both women have since taken bookings under their pre-TNA names, Talia Madison (Sky) and Angel Williams (Love).
