Additional note, this list is a lot more balanced than the annual PWI lists as it does not take kayfabe as seriously. For example, if Randy Orton only faced enhancement talent all year, he would rank highly in the PWI lists for having 300 wins. But PS would acknowledge that he had only faced "low quality" opponents.

Another example is how Brock Lesnar cracked this list with only 3 matches this year. He only faced top-ranking opponents, put on great matches and the fan response was huge.

Not always credited, wrestlers Magnus, Lance Storm, Alex Shane and Stone Cold Steve Austin help compile the list. However, Magnus does not critique TNA talent or OVW talent during this process.
