<big><big>Prisoners</big></big> MAY CONTAIN SPOILERS
Before the movie :
Not much to say here, i was in a dark mood and decided to go to the cinema to change my mind, it was either Prisoners, either Machete Kills and i was not in the mood to watch Boobies MAchine guns and shit like that. Main actors Hugh Jackman and Jake Gyllenhaal.
Movie Plot :
Keller Dover (Jackman) and his family goes to a Thanksgiving dinner at their friends' house, the Birches. The Dovers have a teenage boy and a kid girl, the Birches have a teenage girl and a kid girl. Both kids want to get out so their elder brother and sister come with them, the kids want to clim a van but the elder bring them back to the Birches house. Later the Dover kid wants to go home with the Birch kid, they were supposed to ask their elder to come with them but didn't, Both families are searching them, the van disappeared and they suspect the driver to have kidnapped them. The cops arrest the driver, which seems to have the I.Q of a ten year old but after 48 hours the police release him because they have no evidence.
Keller is convinced the guy is guilty and will do anything to make him reveal where he holds the girls while the police follows another suspect.
My impressions : I'll stay evasive to not spoil too much
[+] Jackman and Gyllenhaal are great
[+] The movie is playing with your mind, either Dover is right, either he went crazy but it won't let you indifferent
[-] A bit too long, 2hours instead of 2h33 would have been fine.
To conclude, this movie is really good, it will make you wonder how you would act if you were in Dover's place. I usually don't go to the cinema to watch this kind of movie but i don't regret it.
