WWE Hall of Famer Ric Flair was scheduled to make his in-ring wrestling return in a tag team match with the Great Muta, for All Japan Pro Wrestling. According to a report from Puroresuspirit.com, doctor's would not allow Flair to compete, and he was immediately replaced by his son Reid.

According to PWTorch, there was "suspicion of deep vein thrombosis of the left foot" and doctors were concerned it could worsen, spreading to the brain or heart.[/quote]

TBH, flair should have retired from in-ring competiton 13 years ago. He's too damn old and he refuses to acknowledge that. He's still a legend and he should be involved in the business, but, either as a manager or some other personality, NOT a wrestler. He's like a second Terry Funk, you say you're not going to wrestle anymore, next thing you know, you're booked for a promotion. It's pathetic IMO.
