Yes, it's me again with questions that I really should know the answers to, but I don't. Any help is appreciated!

I have a continuing problem with Project64 crashing, and it seems to only be when using the Rice Video Plugin (Mudlord's Rice Video Build 6.1.4,to be exact). I thought it may have been due to the amount of texture packs I had added - the more I added, the worse it seemed to get. I have since uninstalled and re-installed fresh copies of Project64 and now with no textures packages at all, I barely get past the opening splash screen before it crashes. If I disable the Rice Plugin, it works perfectly fine, so I really think it is the plugin. Odd, since it is the same plugin that I've been using, so I'm not sure if other plugins are available, or what my options are besides the limited in-game CAW editor.

Any suggestions? Thanks to all in advance!

Are all your cheats ticked? That might be your problem, many hacks will do that if they are activiated before the main menu.

Well, before I read your reply, I switched to Mudlord's Rice Video Build 6.1.3 -DX9. I have played it a couple of times, and it has loaded properly so far. I'll keep messing around with it and let you know what else I run into.

Thanks for all of your help thus far - I really appreciate it!

Generally I have found switching graphic plugins play a factor in how the game runs. As CBV said, activating cheats after the game has loaded can helping the game run smoother. I does also depend on which operating system you are using.

It seems alot of people have issue's running Emu on Windows 7. If you run it as administrator, it can help.

Fiddling around with the graphic settings and cheats is the way to go buddy.
