The WWE has announced that Brad Armstrong has died.

The news came from WWE Hall of Famer "Bullet" Bob Armstrong, Brad's father. The 51-year-old was taken into hospital last week with an unknown illness that was not succesfully diagnosed. He was unresponcive when someone tried to waken him this morning, and a doctor pronounced him dead a short time later.

Brad had competed in the NWA and WCW, winning multiple tag team titles and some regional heavyweight titles. He briefly worked in the WWE as a trainer in 2006, and as a commentator for the ECW brand for a month. Brad's brother Scott Armstrong briefly a referee for the Raw and ECW brands, and another brother is "Road Dogg" Jesse James, who is currently an agent with the WWE.

Wow that is really tragic news. What I would like to know is why the doctors failed to find a reason for his illness.
