Right now, the end result of the WWE Championship match could go either way. An increasing number of roster members are expecting a major swerve that sees Ryback win the title. As little as 3 weeks ago, no-one was expecting Ryback to win.
The reason for the change of heart was because John Cena could still lose the match without damaging his "Super Cena" image. A Ryback victory would establish him as a dominating monster that Cena could potentially beat further down the line. But if Cena wins, then Ryback loses his his reputation as an unstoppable force.
The plan is to establish one of the two men (possibly Ryback) as the bigger powerhouse. In order to do all three rounds, both men must win a round each. Whoever wins the first round (lumberjack match) can lose the second round (table match) without being pinned. As a result, he can look like the unbeatable man going into the final round.
There is also a plan to have Cena perform the shell-shock finisher on Ryback. There is no other reason for this than to prove Cena's strength.
