Hover over me and see that it says "Hidden From Guests". Dont believe me? log out and see for yourself!

This will hide the text, link etc from guests, saying they should login in order to see the link, text etc.

This is how you do this:

Yeah, its a BBCode, or whatever its called, it could help people to secure their passwords, links, from guests that just come here to leech and go away, without becoming a member etc.

And? If they do see the password WITHOUT being members, they just come here and steal, but if you secure it that way, they HAVE to become a member and help OSR's member number grow..

IF I was an admin or whatever, I'd rather have a 100 members that were active instead of having a million members, most of which are inactive.

I agree with what TSF said 100%, but seeing as it is a code. Whoever wants to use it, I can't stop them because of that. It isn't worth starting a arguement over.

Problem is, bbcodes can't be designed. Its like build into every forum software that can be found, the [member}{/member] one is one I saw from another forum, and it actually worked here to, so you can fool them by doing the "be active and contribute" but its still going to say only members can view it, and if they register and see the "be active" post, they had already registered. So its going to end up the same way as to just use it normally. :) (last sentence probrably didn't make sense. lol) but use it if you want to, or don't use it. :) doesn't matter really.
