Shane Helms and his girlfriend were involved in a motorcycle accident near their home in North Carolina last night.
Both are currently in the hospital, and it has been reported that Helms broke his leg and his ankle.
There may be other injuries, but nothing confirmed at this time.
Matt Hardy confirmed this on Twitter with the following tweets:
Last night, Shane & his girlfriend were in a very serious motorcycle accident.. They were both seriously injured, but they're both warriors.
Since its being reported in the dirtsheets, I wanted everyone to hear it from 1 of their close friends. Both are recovering & should be ok.
Shane & Karen, I love you guys, hang in there and stay strong!
