TNA President Dixie Carter has suffered two broken ribs.

An ongoing story line is that Bully Ray has created a hit list of enemies that he plans to put through tables. It was a logical conclusion that with Dixie being the company's non-wrestling president that she would be the last person on the hit list to get got. Or that she may not get got at all. But in a surprise twist, Ray will powerbomb Dixie through a table in an upcoming episode of Impact. Dixie was legitimately hurt in the stunt. There is said to be no heat on Bully Ray or anyone else for the stunt. Dixie was unsure about taking the bump, but ultimately it was her decision to do it at all.

The reason for the stunt was to write Dixie off TV as a character. It is already known that Ethan Carter III will continue on with his current gimmick, while Rockstar Spud will likely be repackaged. It is not known if there will continue to be an onscreen authority figure or not, but if there is, MVP will be the obvious choice going forward.

Also at the NYC shows, Ezekiel Jackson and Snitsky joined 'Team Dixie', but were fired after losing their only match. The idea was to demonstrate that Dixie had badly lost touch with the industry, and thus believed Jackson and Snitsky to be examples of "the real ECW". Both men featured in the WWE brand of the same name, with Jackson being the final ECW brand champion. But neither of them were involved with the original ECW. However, Rhino represented Team Dixie too. Rhino was in the original ECW, being the final ECW World Heavyweight and Television Champion. Rhino will not be continuing with TNA either.

It is unknown what Tommy Dreamer's fate with TNA is either. The recent incident involving his House of Hardcore IV event was completely genuine. The idea to work it into a story line for the NYC events was a recent decision, and great timing. The original plan for these events was build them around the X-Division and the partnership with the Wrestle-1 promotion. Rhino will be working with HOH in the future, but it is unknown if Snitsky or Jackson will be there.

Devon is expected to remain in the company until Bound For Glory. Both Bully Ray and Devon will be inducted into this year's TNA Hall Of Fame. They are already both book for Bound For Glory, which will take place in Japan.
