The main event for Night Of Champions has already been confirmed. It will be WWE World Heavyweight Champion Brock Lesnar defending the title against... John Cena.
Chief Operating Officer Triple H announced on the WWE Network tonight that Cena has enlisted his rematch clause. So therefore will be challenging Lesnar at the next pay-per-view.
It was already known that Lesnar was booked to appear at NOC, but his victory at SummerSlam confirmed that he would be defending the title at NOC. There is a long-standing ruling that the WWE World Heavyweight Championship must be on the line at Night Of Champions.
Right now, Lesnar is only scheduled for 4 more appearances. One at NOC, one at WrestleMania 31, and 2 episodes of Raw leading into WM31. This does not mean that he definitely will or definitely will not be losing the title at NOC. His contract was for 25 dates since (but not including) WrestleMania XXX. So if you count in the ones listed above, the WWE still has several more dates in which they can use Lesnar. The plan always was that IF Lesnar got the title, he would not appear often, and that Paul Heyman would continue to do all his talking for him.
