Jeff Hardy is not done with TNA Wrestling.
It was previously reported in other spoilers that Jeff Hardy claimed that he had worked his last match during Impact tapings. The episode in question is due to air on the 26th December.
The truth is, he will not be under contract in January. Hardy didn't want to sign a new deal as he felt the money was too low and he wanted to take some time off. Also, he was not keen on doing the annual TNA tour of the UK. So he chose to let his contract expire.
However, TNA since came to an agreement about pay. Hardy's new contract will begin in at some point in February. Reports vary on when exactly in February that this would begin. This will allow Hardy to take some time off, miss the UK tour, and return with a new contract.
The deal is for at least 1 year, but reports also suggest that it is for 2. Most TNA contracts give TNA the option of renewing it for one more year, so he is expected to be around for 2 more years either way.
