TNA star Mr. Anderson has signed a new contract with TNA Wrestling.
Anderson's previous contract was due to expire in 2 weeks time. Insiders were expecting TNA Management to allow his contract to expire before signing him to a new deal. But negotiations have been successful and he is going to remain with the company.
At this point, there are no future storylines that involve Anderson. The ending to his TNA World Title match against Bully Ray was to write him out if a new contract was not signed. He will not be involved with the next episode of Impact as he was not used at the most recent taping. He will be taking time off to sell his injuries. He will not be added back to the Aces 'N' Eights stables, which will likely be disbanded soon anyway.
There are no details regarding his contract other than Anderson has taken a minor paycut.
Some stars are annoyed that it is taking so long for TNA to reach agreements with talented workers, while others are being let go. Especially as Magnus was signed to a new deal, with a pay rise, more than a month before his contract was due to expire. Right now, Hogan and Magnus (and possibly Styles) are the only two people who have not taken pay-cuts in their new deals.
