Starwars - The Force Unleashed 2

I feel lucky I did not waste my money on this, and get SVR2011 instead, as it pretty much has been slated by most video games reviewers, and though I am a huge fan of starwars and never miss a opportunity to buy a game from the franchise, I still feel no desire to buy it with the lack of confidence in the game.

You know I have mixed feelings about this...I mean I liked Force Unleashed 1 and I could do with more of the same "repetetive" gameplay since it was fun but, the only reason i didn't buy this is because gamespots and someone else's main complains were that the game lacks the story of the first one and that was its main selling point to me...

I will get it once its in the bargain bin though to see for myself, for now....Its fable 3 time

I actually purchased it yesterday and took it back , I was so let down by the story and felt ripped off, I went with EA MMA instead and it was the right choice. Lucasarts had a great opportunity to make a killing out of this, but it was a let down.

I actually got this for a christmas present and decided to have a go at it again. I can not believe how short the game is. 3 different worlds to play in? WTF. I presume there is downloadable levels, but come on this was nothing in comprison compared to the first force unleashed. I will say that the graphics is much better but thats about it.

I got it from GameFly and didn't even finish it before sending it back the same day. There is DLC, but even that cannot help this shitty game. Lucas needs to stop milking Star Wars, it's getting pathetic.

I dont have next gen console atm, but loved the first one on PS2, i have heard the 2nd version is rather shit and very short in comparison. I am a starwars fan, so will try it out before I buy once I get a xbox360, which will be for a while.

Yeah its really not worth getting man, I got it in the sale, but even still it feels like I got ripped off!! Lucasarts should just call a day on this franchise, it was successful for the first game, but this is a real downer, and if they had put more time and effort in this, man the potential for the 3rd? Hell maybe george lucas would get back in his directors chair and make a trilogy of this. Wishfull thinking. :star wars:

I think you are being a tad harsh on the game. Yes it has major flaws, but certain things like the controls and new force powers and skills are cool. It is very short and was surprised with the fact there was only 4 planets to fight on, but its not lke the worst game ever. Graphics is much improved and Kamino looks amazing. I can say DLC is cool with a few surprises, but if you dont have live or PSN then you will miss a few cool things.

To say do not buy is wrong, more like buy if you are a really die hard starwars fan! :B-)
