Long term members have noticed that a lot of the stories about Tammy 'Sunny' Sytch don't get reported here. The youngest Hall Of Famer has a habit of public displays of attention seeking. Now her latest stunt was to show that the media are obsessed WITH HER?!?!
This bout of childishness started after one of her Facebook statuses went viral. She made a post IN CHARACTER about the sort of things she looks for in a man. Many dirt sheet sites took it out of context and reported it as her own feelings. She responded by posting a string of more shocking comments, including one that she had been mugged. She finally claimed that all of her recent statuses were meant to prove that websites will report just about anything and should leave her alone. Her stunt would have worked better if she didn't have several posts complaining about the lack of attention the other posts were getting.
This is actually why we here at OSR stopped reporting most things that happen to Sytch. Her genuine controversies happen so often that we have gotten tired of reporting them.
Earlier this year, Sytch was arrested 3 times inside one week for breaking a restraining order taken out by an ex-boyfriend. On each occasion, Sytch broke into the man's home while under the influence of alcohol and other substances. She was recently (and incorrectly) accused of prostitution after another publicity stunt. She posed with fans in a bed. The intimacy of the pose depended on how much money the fan paid up front. But she stopped just before sexual contact, offering nothing more than a kiss on the cheek.
Another low point came this year when she made a string of racial and homophobic slurs. She then claimed that the comments were not offensive as she knew a gay person that she used to work with, and one of her friends had married a hispanic woman.
It is a shame to see one of the most loveable figures of the WWE in the '90's go so far downhill. Here's hoping that she will finally accept the help that she needs.
