Yep, time for that discussion, again. Let's bring all the modders we can into this thread to discuss the reasons why they mod or play whichever game.
I mod No Mercy for a few reasons.
1. It's one of my favorite games of all time.
2. The universal body shapes make more believable looking mods (In my opinion)
3. A bigger color pallet and less mirrored textures make for more visually striking mods (once again, in my opinon)
4. There are more styling options for No Mercy, whether it be AKI, hi-res, cartoony or what have you. I've seen a lot of different styles used, and I like just about them all.
5. The pj.64 emu is primed for modding, I don't have to have a system or even a high powered computer to play/mod/hack No Mercy to the fullest.
6. Every texture can be replaced to make it look like a completely different game, thanks to the texture dumping system and interface hacks.
I also think No Mercy is more fun to play, thus, making me want to mod it more.
