I agree with just about all of what you just said, WildForce67. If something really was on a direct collision course with earth, it would be visible with the naked eye right now. And would have been for at least 10 weeks if the object is as close, or moving as quickly as they say it is.

Also, we have astronomers and amateur space-heads looking into the night sky for decades. It there was a genuine threat, someone would have PROVED it by now.
