It's a texture project for WWF No Mercy. I'm only doing the coding (arenas, interface, weapons, attires, movesets), and spreading the word. :)

Cool beans Blitz. Is the site up and running? because I tried clicking on the link and said it was down. I will try again, and all the best on this project. :hi

EDIT: Works fine now Blitz.

Seen this one. Looks like it's gonna be pretty kewl. A lot of people have started a MNW save, so I really hope this sucker gets finished. So far it looks quite promising.

Bumpin' the topic to give kudos on Nash. Is everyone getting 4 attires?

According to Anthology, everyone is getting two attires in the first release. Then, shortly after, there will be two alternate attires released via DLC. The caws will already be made and set up in the game but unselectable (attire 3 and 4), all the people will have to do is download the new zip and install into the hi-res folder.

For instance, now it's Nash in wrestling attire, and Wolfpack attire. The other two would be Diesel attire, and another Nash attire. So the initial release will be strict 1998. And the DLC will help expand to 1996 and 1997. I like 4 attires, but I think it's a cool idea to get the ball rolling, and have something extra later to draw people into it.

That's actually a fantastic idea, my man. It'll speed the release up and still keep interest after it is. You guys have made a ton of progress in a very little amount of time.

Sadly, tnafan, I'll be redesigning the site in the future to match the style of the Monday Night War dvd cover. Vince on one side, Eric on the other. All of the content in the middle.

Progress is rolling, but he hit a speed bump today with Saturn. On MSN, I don't know how many times I was hit with "Fuck Perry Saturn, I'm taking him off the roster and putting Psychosis in his place". This is the progress he's made

I'm in the middle of hacking the sweatshirt for the alt attire.

I should make a topic here, or get Anthology on board.

I think that is looking real good Blitz man. Anthology is a really good modder IMO and we would welcome to have your save here. Invite him to OSR and please feel free to post this awesome save. It would be my pleasure my man. Your hacking is seriously amazing and am sure this save will be awe inspiring. Great work.

I am coding like crazy, trying various things that either haven't been done, or aren't perfectly functional. Will our cage matches have a working door? Yes. Will Sting's facepaint peel off during the match? Yes. Will LOD have spiked shoulder pads?.... Maybe ;)

cowboyvenus, I agree about the DLC. Undoubtedly, a save takes a long time to prepare, mod, and hack. Reading through topics at NMZ, the creators are typically "I'm done, what can I do next". The plan is the 2 attires first for everyone. Then 2 extra attires over the course of time. I'm also setting it up for extra arenas as DLC. There are 10 in the game, but with an extra code and texture pack -- Press Z on the Raw is War vs. Screen, and the arena shifts to Sunday Night Heat, for example.

I've been asked to help out with a few projects since I started posting, but they don't interest me. One was a WWE save. Helll, the most WWE I see is when I check WWE.com once a month. 1996-2000, I was watching wrestling and flipping channels every Monday night. We want to take the passion for that era and transform it into a whole new experience.

First off, I'd tell Anthology not to worry about Saturn, I think it is looking spot-on! ;)

Those ideas are fantastic, I'm glad to see a save doing so many innovative things. I've used extra arenas in my personal saves, but I just swap out the arena textures and click the needed hacks in my cheat file. If you can maneuver around this it'll be HUGE! Props, good sir! :hi

Also, I've recently been screwing around with a plugin that can add more than one png. file for each texture, and then assign the millesconds between each texutre switch, I.E., you can animate static images, and hopefully add even more frames of animation to exsisting textures... like a flipbook of sorts. Hopefully, one could animate faces to blink, stage textures in-match would be animated, as well! It has been done on Zelda and Mario Kart 64 so far, but I'm certain things like this could be applied to No Mercy, as well. You don't even need to put extra codes into the game. PM me if you would like to discuss any further on it, I figure a save this innovative should have all the stops!

Great work, guys. You both should be proud! :ajtna:
