The Rock Asked If WrestleMania Was His Last Match, Talks Lesnar Plans and More

- Former WWE Champion The Rock recently spoke with Hot 97's Peter Rosenberg about WrestleMania 29, his future with WWE and more.

Rock was asked if WrestleMania 29 may be his last match:

"Possibly, to be honest with you. The goal three years ago was I sat down with Vince McMahon and strategized about it, about three WrestleManias back to back. I committed myself to the company and I was very proud of that moment. It didn't matter if I lost or I did the job, but it was an honor to do the honors. There is no better way to give back... then by doing the honors."

Rock also confirms there were plans to build to a WrestleMania XXX match with Brock Lesnar but says he talked with Vince McMahon and Triple H the night of WrestleMania about his injury and it was agreed that he wouldn't be on RAW the next night.

Personally,i seriously don't want to see Rock in another main event at Wrestlemania,especially after that "Once in a lifetime" crap that WWE kept talking about for over a year,The Rock time his done,his gimmick just doesn't belong in today's WWE,sure Cena vs Rock's idea was pretty much "ment" to happen but overall i think his Wrestlemania match SHOULD be his last one and give all his time to Hollywood films

If you look at the years of 1989-1995 WWE was pretty much as it is now in a sense of no blood, no gimmick matches. Vince Mcmahon realised that he had to make changes when WcW was kicking there ass in the ratings with there bold approach to "Entertainment". From the year 1997 to 2005, WWE was pretty much a strong hardcore wrestling style with bloody, gimmick matches galore.

WWE is not fake. It just got with the times as it caters more to children and family friendly TV. Though recently I have noticed WWE being a tad more violent in a sense of matches that have taken place. They gain more sponsors now and awareness by being PG and who can blame them. The economy has not helped things either.

rock vs cena was decent but onestly i think the rock shouldv never ever and i meeeeeeaaaannnnn eveeeer
comeback to the wwe for 2 decent matches but not main event status...dissapointing for maineventing wrestlemania but oh well at least we got to see the rock back for a short time.
The only one man i want to see back is kurt angle...angle vs punk it would be epic or angle vs dolph zigler ....or even vs jack swagger.
