Samoa Joe has angrily hit out at claims that he is injured... not realising that the story was started by TNA Wrestling.
Joe is currently taking some time off from TNA. As a result, he has missed some important TV tapings and 2 pay-per-view tapings. He is also not booked for any future shows or events. Both TNA and Joe have denied that Joe is done with the company. Even if he returns this week, he will still not appear on multiple upcoming shows.
The reason why Joe is taking time off is to deal with personal issues. It is not known the nature of these issues, and they will likely not become public. However, TNA are pretending that Joe has not been cleared to compete after suffering a recent concussion. The story was only designed to explain Joe's absence without giving away personal details.
Dirtsheet websites reported TNA's version of events, but Joe took exception to this being reported. He told Twitter followers, "Not injured please don't make up news if you don't have actual facts."
