thanks to the great teachings of HaloOverHead, ive finaly learned how to add sound into my hacks. biggrin.gif
before i give you the sounds HOH showed me, i will teach you how to use them using CEP and PJ64
.
step 1) get the four digit value of the move you want to add sound to(if you don't know how to do that check out wahe's CEP hacking guide).
step 2) put that four digit into toki1 tool to get your 8 digit addy(somthing like 802B2174).
step 3) now get out windows calculator and change the view to scientific, and change it from dec to hex.
step 4) add the 8 digit addy to into your calculator then add 14 to it and write that down(i type it in on notepad). then add 2 to it 7 more times, writing down the number each time after you add.
you should have somthing like this:
802B2188
802B218A
802B218C
802B218E
802B2190
802B2192
802B2194
802B2196
Step 5) now change the 2nd digit in all eight addys to 1 insted of 0 and add 0000 to the ends of them. like this:
812B2188 0000
812B218A 0000
812B218C 0000
812B218E 0000
812B2190 0000
812B2192 0000
812B2194 0000
812B2196 0000
(adding 0000 to the end of all the addys will take all the old sound from the move out that is already there)
now a little somthing to explain about those 4 0's, the first two represent the frame the sound starts on, the second two are the value of the sound(which is what is typed in below).
Step 6) replace the 2nd two 0's of the first addy with the value of the sound you want to add(values 00-4F below)
Step 7) now is the tricky part, adding the frame the sound starts on. first you will need to start a match(add 2nd player to make it easyer) and if the move is a special, and you have the unlimited special code, add that)
the reason you are starting a match is because toki1 mods only show up in matches.
do the move your hacking and pause it at the point you want to add the sound. now use CEP and jump to 6B454
and get the value from 04(the frame you stoped at) and - it by like 3, this is because you probly didint stop exactly on que. and that is the first two 0's to your addy. so your addy should look somthing like this:
(pretend that the values you got were frame 3A and sound value 22
812B2188 3A22
Step 8) add all 8 addys to your moves code. then turn your move on and try it out. if the frame is a little of, you can just add of subtract a few off the 3A until its where you want it.
to add more sounds, just repeat steps 6-8 on the next addy down.
now finaly the values ive found.
the ones that say NONE are ones that were realy hard to here even with the music of and the sound high.
the ones with ?s next to them im not sure exactly what sound they are in the game
