WWE.com has made a list of the top 25 Intercontinental Champions of all time.

Like most WWE.com lists, this one is biased, and is designed to put over certain WWE talents and alumni. And as usual, former WWE Superstars who currently work for TNA Wrestling get little or poor recognition, while those that the WWE is interested in rehiring have done well.

Here is the list below. I have included the number of championship wins and total time spent as champion.

25. Rey Mysterio (2) (128 days)
24. Cody Rhodes (2) (251 days so far...)
23. Goldust (3) (168 days)
22. Ricky Steamboat (1) (25 days)
21. Jeff Hardy (4) (329 days)
20. Greg Valentine (1) (285 days)
19. The Rock (2) (239 days)
18. Tito Santana (2) (443 days)
17. Jeff Jarrett (6) (297 days)
16. Steve Austin (2) (65 days)
15. Rob Van Dam (6) (211 days)
14. Edge (5) (196 days)
13. Shawn Michaels (3) (406 days)
12. Triple H (5) (196 days)
11. Rick Rude (1) (148 days)
10. Randy Orton (1) (210 days)
9. Pedro Morales (2) (619 days)
8. Bret Hart (2) (290 days)
7. Razor Ramon (4) (438 days)
6. Honky Tonk Man (1) (454 days)
5. Pat Paterson (1) (223 days)
4. Mr. Perfect (2) (406 days)
3. Ultimate Warrior (2) (432 days)
2. Chris Jericho (9) (328 days)
1. Randy Savage (1) (414 days)

Don Muraco, Shelton Benjamin, Ken Patera, John Morrison, Kofi Kingston, Santino Marella, Drew McIntyre, Dolph Ziggler, Ric Flair, Chris Benoit, Diesel (Kevin Nash), Owen Hart, Christian, William Regal, Ken Shamrock, Umaga, Eddie Guerrero, Carlito, Wade Barrett, Texas Tornado (Kerry Von Erich), Val Venis, Roddy Piper, Chyna, British Bulldog, Kane, Ezekiel Jackson, Ahmed Johnson, CM Punk, The Godfather, Kurt Angle, Booker T, Marc Mero, Big Show, Albert (Lord Tensai), JBL, Lance Storm, D'Lo Brown, Marty Jannetty, Billy Gunn, Rikishi, Road Dogg, Test, The Mountie and Dean Douglas (Shane Douglas) all failed to make the list.

No Kurt Angle or Chris Benoit.

I know Benoit will never show on one of these lists, but I can always hope.

Since when has Kurt been an IC title winner? He had that with the European belt in 2000 but he isn't a pure IC champ.

And since when is Ultimate Warrior a better IC champ than Mr. Perfect??

Jeff Hardy on that list?

I agree Kurt Angle was a great IC champ.

Owen Hart should also be recognised as he beat the best at the time in his brother Bret.
