Triple H ends popular gimmick?

Solomon Crowe from NXT shall be returning to his old gimmick that he had with the Sami Callihan ring name.

Crowe's "hacker" gimmick had been getting him over with fans and had become really popular. However, he has not had much in the way of story lines to go with the gimmick. The reason for this is because Triple H hates it. It is not known why Triple H doesn't like the gimmick. But it has been difficult for writers to come up with things for Crowe because Triple H kept over-ruling them.

Crowe will keep his current ring name. He has been teaming with Kalisto as of late. It is not known if they will be packaged as a tag team or not. But people are assuming that the Kalisto tag team with Sin Cara is officially done.

It has been reported a lot that Triple H and Vince McMahon disagree on gimmicks and story lines. McMahon does not take much interest in NXT, preferring to focus upon the main roster. He considers NXT to be Triple H's thing, so may not have had any input on this decision.

It's very simple. Vince McMahon may be a genius, but he is also a scatterbrain. And both Stephanie and Triple H have picked up his habits. So they tend to finalise a decision and then change their minds on a whim. For one example, Bray Wyatt was supposed to attack Big Show after a tag team match and injure him for a week with the Sister Abigail. Similarly, Cena was supposed to cut a promo to address the injuries he suffered in his SummerSlam match against Lesnar. Just as the show was going on the air, McMahon decided to have Cena bury all 3 Wyatts instead.

I remember that Cryme Tyme once won a gauntlet to get a "future" World Tag Team Title shot. It took another year and a half for them to get their first match for the titles. During that time, they had been released for a week.
