I have alot of tutorials still knocking around for this and will start posting them over the next few days. They are old guides but useful nevertheless.

Guide 1 - H.A.2001's
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
OK. Im gonna break down front/back grapple move hacking so that ANYONE can understand it.htthats

OK. Here are the first steps to follow:

*MUST HAVE GS 3.3*

1. Turn on the Gameshark
2. Go to SELECT CHEAT CODES.
3. Select the file that you keep your No Mercy codes in.
4. Turn every code off EXCEPT the ENABLE CODE.
5. After you have the ENABLE code selected, return to the MAIN MENU screen
6. Go into the START GAME menu.
7. While in this menu, look for the option that says "Generator Code" and press A on it so that it says "Generator Code ON".
8. Press A on the START GAME WITH SELECTED CHEAT CODES option.

Here is the 2nd set of steps to follow:

1. When the game starts up and you get to the main menu, go to the SMACKDOWN MALL.
2. While in the SMACKDOWN MALL, press A on SUPERSTAR OPTIONS.
3. While in the SUPERSTAR OPTIONS menu, press A on EDIT A SUPERSTAR.
4. Now the best suggestion here is to pick a CAW that you made so that you can access view to ANY move. Press A on the CAW that you have chosen.
5. Once in your CAW's edit menu, press R TWICE to get to the moves section.
6. On this option, pick a move that you want to splice (ex. Double Arm DDT).
7. When the move reaches the point that you want to splice press the GS button (small button on your GS)
8. Go to the MEMORY EDITOR and press A
9. Then press A on GO TO ADRESS
10. Here you will Enter the addy: 8006B454 then press A.
11. Look for a Letter or # that is highlighted a bit. This is your first value (ex. 34EB). The best suggestion right now is to get a piece a piece of paper and make a list #’s 1 to 8. Write down the first value you found next to # 1. This value is the move value. Look at the 4 letters/#’s next to it. This is the value for your next addy 8006B456 (which is the animation frame value). Write this next to #2. #’s 1 and 2 are addys and values for P1. Next search the addy 8006B514. Write down this value next to # 3. Look at the next 4 letters/#’s next to it, this is the value for 8006B516. Write this down next to # 4. #’s 3 and 4 are the addys and values for P2.
12. Press start after you have 4 values written down on paper.
13. Now its time to search for a new move to splice into. Fine the move (ex. Flowing DDT) and press the GS button RIGHT BEFORE the point you want it to start.
14. Go into MEMORY EDITOR and Press A
15. Press A on GO TO ADDRESS
16. Search the addy 8006B460 and write down the value under #5
17. Search the addy 8006B462 and write down the value under #6 (5 and 6 are the values for P1)
18. Search the addy 8006B520 and write down the value under #7
19. Search the addy 8006B522 and write down the value under #8 (7 and 8 are the values for P2)
20. Now you have all the values that you need. Here is a breakdown of how your list should look. Lets use my One Armed Fusion value list:

1- 33A1 – 8006B454 (P1 Animation Addy and Value)
2- 0030 - 8006B456 (P1 Animation Frame Addy and Value)
3- 33A2 – 8006B514 (P2 Animation Addy and Value)
4- 0030 - 8006B516 (P2 Animation Frame Addy and Value)
5- 00BF – 8006B460 (P1 Move Sectoin Addy and Value)
6- 8FDC –8006B462 (P1 Section Frame Addy and Value)
7- 00BF – 8006B520 (P2 Move Sectoin Addy and Value)
8- AE80 – 8006B522 (P2 Section Frame Addy and Value)

Here are the 3rd Steps to follow:

1. Now once you have all these values, turn off your GS and wait 5-10 seconds.
2. Go into your No Mercy file and press A on NEW CODE
3. Heres how your code should be set up. I will replace the values with the “Numbers” that you labled on a sheet of paper so that you can understand and easily enter the code:

D106B454 (#1)….Move that P1 is doing first
D106B456 (#2)….Frame that the move splices at
8106B460 (# 5)….Move that the 1st move is being spliced into
D106B454 (#1)….Repeat Line 1
D106B456 (#2)….Repeat Line 2
8106B462 (#6)….Frame to switch to
D106B514 (#3)….P2 reciving the first move being done
D106B516 (#4)….Frame that the move splices at
8106B520 (#7)….Move that the 1st move is being sliced into
D106B514 (#3)…Repeat Line 7
D106B516 (#4)….Repeat Line 8
8106B522 (# ….Frame to switch to

4. If ya are still confused, take a look at my list of values for my One Armed Fusion (above) and look at them in the code:

Credit: HackerAfter2001
Move: One Armed Fusion

D106B454 33A1….33A1 representing P1 DOING the One Armed Slam
D106B456 0030….0030 representing the frame that the move is spliced at
8106B460 00BF….00BF representing the frame in which the move continues into the Emerald Fusion
D106B454 33A1….Repeating Line 1
D106B456 0030….Repeating Line 2
8106B462 8FDC….8FDC representing P1 DOING the Emerald Fusion
D106B514 33A2….33A2 representing P2 RECEIVING the One Armed Slam.
D106B516 0030….0030 representing the frame that the move is spliced at
8106B520 00BF….00BF representing the frame in with the move continues into the Emerald Fusion
D106B514 33A2….Repeating Line 7
D106B516 0030….Repeating Line 8
8106B522 AE80….Representing P2 RECEIVING the Emerald Fusion

5. Now you can go try your move out. Go back into SD Mall and preview the move that you started with (In the case of the code above, the One Armed Slam (weak move))

Now if your move glitches in SD Mall or in the game itself, heres what to do to fix it:

1. Turn on the CODE GENERATOR and have your code on when you start the game.
2. Go into SD Mall and preview your move.
3. Look over your move once and hit the GS Button RIGHT BEFORE it glitches.
4. Now go into MEMORY EDITOR and hit A. Now hit GO TO ADDRESS.
5. Search the addresses 8006B454 (#1), 8006B456 (#2), 8006B514 (#3), 8006B516 (#4) and record the values for each of them on a piece of paper (label them 1-4 as noted next to the addy) and turn off your GS.
6. Now go back and EDIT your code. Go to the bottom of the code (past the last addy 8106B522…) and enter this:

D106B454 (#1)
D106B456 (#2)
8115AF52 0000 (this value # will always be 0000. Its telling the game to stop the animation being done)
D106B514 (#3)
D106B516 (#4)
8105B2AA 0000 (this value # will always be 0000. Its telling the game to stop the animation being done)

7. Once you have done this, save the code, start the game with jus the ENABLE code on and your code. Then go into any match and try your move (if successfully done, it should end the move right before the glitch).

AND THERE YA GO!!!!! My guide break down to making Grapple moves. Of course this technique can be used for corner, irish whip, high flying, running attacks, etc….to make ANY move u desire. Mess around a bit with different combos. I just started moves just about a week ago and I already have 30+ moves on my GS.
