<blockquote class='quote\\_blockquote'><dl><dt>Quote:</dt><dd> </dd></dl><div>WWE Live Event Results, Lethbridge, Alberta "Canada" (5/26/13)

(1) Bray Wyatt def. Zack Ryder. NXT airs in Canada, so the crowd seems pretty aware of Bray Wyatt and who he is.

(2) Kofi Kingston def. Dean Ambrose. The match ended in DQ after The Shield attacked.

(3) Team Hell No & Kofi Kingston def. The Shield. Another match ends in DQ, after Roman Reigns attacked with a steel chair. Same segment as the past few Raw brand house shows, with Bryan and Kane cleaning house after the match, and ending it with a big hug (that included the referee).

(4) Kaitlyn def. Tamina to retain the Divas Championship.

(5) The New Age Outlaws def. Rhodes Scholars. Again, same finish as the other house show this weekend in Canada, with Shawn Michaels hitting Rhodes with Sweet Chin Music, and Billy Gunn getting the pin.

(6) Ryback def. Chris Jericho. This was a No DQ match, but apparently very few foreign objects were used, and for some reason the referee used ropebreaks. Ryback got the win with the Meathook Clothesline.

This was largely the exact same Raw brand house show as the previous day, and according to reports, many fans were upset when Ryback went to his car after the show and yelled out "fat a**holes" at the fans wanting autographs.
1. R-Truth defeated Antonio Cesaro. Hunico came out and attacked R-Truth and then challenged anyone in the locker room to fight him. Out came Ted DiBiase.

2. Ted DiBiase defeated Hunico. It was a pretty boring match, as the crowd was not interested in either guy. DiBiase hit his finisher after about 5 minutes.

3. Naomi defeated Brie Bella with a pinfall.

4. Wade Barrett defeated Sheamus and Fandango to retain the WWE Intercontinental Championship. Barrett pinned Fandango after Sheamus connected with a Brogue Kick.

A Wyatt Family promo is played. This is going to be a great angle if done correctly.

5. Bray Wyatt defeated Zack Ryder. Wyatt looked pretty good, but the crowd still was not sure who he actually was. Ryder was over with the New York crowd, like usual.

6. Zack Ryder defeated Brad Maddox. After Ryder lost to Wyatt, Maddox came out and booked himself against Ryder. Ryder picked up the victory with a Broski Boot, followed by a Rough Ryder.

7. Tons of Funk defeated The Prime Time Players. This was a typical match, where Brodus Clay and Tensai controlled the match with their power. Funk It Splash from both guys ended the match.

8. John Cena defeated Ryback in a Tables Match for the WWE Championship. Cena hit an Attitude Adjustment onto Ryback through a table for the victory.
(4) Alberto del Rio def. Big E Langston. This was a No DQ match, as decided by the fans and a live Twitter poll.

(5) The Great Khali def. Damien Sandow

(6) Sin Cara def. Cody Rhodes

(7) Randy Orton & Team Hell No def. The Shield. The end had the typical DQ finish with Reigns using a steel chair on Orton.

1. Tons of Funk beat Rhodes Scholars in a quick comedy match.

The Shield then cut a promo in the ring and got interrupted by The Miz, Daniel Bryan and Randy Orton. We have a 6-man tag starting now!

Intermission time.
Randy Orton & Daniel Bryan vs. The Shield's Roman Reigns & Seth Rollins: SmackDown, June 7, 2013.
<small>(I watched it last night at Astro Sport 4)</small>

I think that was the best match at that night. Raging Daniel Bryan truly kicked Roman's & Rollin's asses!! ^o)
Bryan delivered fury kicks to both of The Shields members. :"":
SD_720_Photo_110.jpg

SD_720_Photo_111-1

Bryan also kicked (shining wizard) Orton unintentionally at turnbuckle, right after Roman's fast dodging.
The fight became 1 on 2, but The Shields were totally crashed & eradicated from Ring.
SD_720_Photo_100-1

Finally, match won by Orton & Bryan by DQ after Ambrose's interference. In the end, The Viper unfortunately delivered RKO to Bryan for paying his previous kick. -_-

Hey, This topic is about WWE Live Event, Not WWE "Televised" Event. If you want to discuss "Randy Orton & Daniel Bryan vs. The Shield's Roman Reigns & Seth Rollins: SmackDown, June 7, 2013", Then create your own topic (Why? Because this topic is about WWE Live Event (I repeat: LIVE, NOT TELEVISED) results and discussion about WWE Live Event results).

The house was about 70% full, or about 4500 people.

The opening saw local radio DJ Buckethead with a Miz is Awesome contest. The winner is a local mailman.

The opening bout is The Miz vs Curtis Axel. There was a taped Paul Heyman intro. Great opener with decent heat on Axel, and Miz was way over with the crowd. Axel hits his finisher out of nowhere and gets the win. Miz recovers and hits Axel as he celebrates to win back the crowd.

Out comes Zeb Colter and Antonio Cesaro. They get major heat as Colter claims Jacksonville (wrong town) is full of immigrants. Colter says it's they have an open challenge and no one will accept. 10 seconds go by and Dolph Ziggler hits the ring. Ziggler accepts a match later and clotheslines Cesaro out of the ring.

Ted DiBiase vs Heath Slater is next. Crowd is cold to both. Slow paced match with DiBiase getting the win.

Kaitlyn & Layla defeated AJ & Aksana. The match was way over with the crowd. Kaitlyn hit her finisher on Askana to pick up the win.

Sheamus vs Big E Langston was next. Great power bout that saw Langston dominate most of the match with about 5 false finishes until the Brogue Kick ends it for a Sheamus win. Langston showed great improvement and AJ played very little factor in the match. Looks like Big E can carry a match pretty well with a bit more experience.

Khali vs Primo & Epico was next. Khali picked up the win in a squash match that was about 6 minutes long.

Prime Time Players vs The Usos. Top notch match from both teams. The Usos intro is by far the hottest of all entrances tonight. The crowd was smokin hot for this match. Usos used some double team moves and quick in and out tags to get the win. Really impressed with the way they controlled crowd and sold for PTP. PTP did well, but it wasn't their best outing. Darren looked tired in the parking lot during autographs, to the point where someone asked about it.

Antonio Cesaro vs. Dolph Ziggler is a crowd pick 'em was next. It ended up with a No DQ stip. Great back and forth action. "Get the tables" was an ongoing chant through the match, which Cesaro finally introduced after getting beaten by a kendo stick. Cesaro was later put through a table and Ziggler hit his finisher to get the win.

Wade Barrett vs. Randy Orton was the main event. I was surprised at how much Orton had to carry a house show match with Barrett. This was not Wade's best outing. Orton obviously called the match due to the fact that they were tied up before almost every move. The crowd didn't seem to notice much actually, except a few marks in the crowd that were smart enough to know who was carrying the weight. Orton hit the RKO for the win in 22 minutes and the place erupted.

Notes: Orton and Barrett didn't do autographs beforehand. Neither did Cesaro or Ziggler. But for the most part, the rest of the roster did, with Prime Time Players being the most friendly and they stayed out for probably close to a half hour.

Travel partners were: Barrett / Slater, Big E / AJ, Colter was alone, Primo / Epico, Aksana / Layla. From the back it seemed like Mike Rotunda was calling most of what was happening throughout the night. Colter had some input too. Orton was not around until about an hour for his match. But he and Sheamus had their buses parked just outside the locker room door, so it wasn't unexpected. NXT put about 8 athletes at a table out front in box office area for signatures throughout the night. Steady line until the car got to PTP/Uso's.

Overall not a bad night for WWE in Daytona Beach. It wasn't Bash at the Beach and the world turns overnight with a Hogan swerve, but solid house show.
* Brodus Clay and Tensai defeated Damien Sandow & Cody Rhodes

* Justin Gabriel defeated Jinder Mahal. After the match, The Wyatt Family hit the ring and destroyed Gabriel.

* Dean Ambrose defeated R-Truth.

* Kane & Daniel Bryan defeated Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns via DQ. After the match, Bryan did a bit where he said he invented the chokeslam. Bryan and Kane started to argue and Rollins entered the ring, only to get double chokeslammed by Team Hell No.

Ron Simmons Appreciation Night was next. Simmons received a very warm welcome as JBL introduced him to the audience. Simmons' football career as well as his wrestling career was shown in a video. According to JBL, June 22 is now known as Ron Simmons Day in Tallahassee. Simmons was presented with a plaque and ended the scene with his trademark "DAMN!"

* Brie Bella defeated Naomi.

* Wyatt Family member Luke Harper defeated Alex Riley. Surprisingly, very little heat for this match. The Wyatt Family and Riley had a hard time getting over with the crowd.

* Zack Ryder defeated Drew McIntyre. Ryder got a big response from the fans.

* Main Event: John Cena defeated Ryback in a tables match.
* Randy Orton beat Wade Barrett. Orton got a HUGE pop, this was a VERY good match, that was given a good amount of time.

* The Usos defeated Health Slater and Jinder Mahal.

* Alberto Del Rio defeated Dolph Ziggler with the help of Ricardo Rodgriguez in a fans choice No DQ match. Great match, crowd was really behind Ziggler the whole way through.
(1) Zack Ryder def. Antonio Cesaro & Heath Slater in a triple threat match to earn a shot at the United States championship. Interestingly enough, Ryder won the match with what is generally considered a heel tactic, waiting for Cesaro to land the Neutralizer on Slater, before throwing him from the ring and stealing the pin.

(2) Natalya def. Aksana

(3) The Great Khali def. Jinder Mahal

(4) Dean Ambrose def. Zack Ryder to retain the United States championship.

(5) Curtis Axel def. The Miz using some leverage from the ropes.

(6) Kane & Daniel Bryan def. Seth Rollins & Roman Reigns via DQ when Dean Ambrose interfered in the match.

(7) John Cena def. Ryback to retain the WWE championship. Before the match, Cena spoke some Mandarin for the local crowd. He won with the Attitude Adjustment, and thanked everyone for coming, this time in English.

<div class='spoiler_toggle'>FEB 15 2014, PHOENIX</div><div class="spoiler" style="display:none;"> WWE Intercontinental Championship: Big E.(c) defeated Ryback. Pretty mediocre match. Wasn't good. There were no botches, but I wasn't entertained. Big E. won clean. Big E had good support behind him and the heat was on Ryback throughout. After Big E won, the titantron started to have Ryback's titantron play, but they fixed it and no one noticed.

* The Bella Twins defeated Tamina and Summer Rae. Bellas got an ovation because they were in their hometown.

* WWE Tag Team Champions The New Age Outlaws defeated The Usos & The Real Americans in a triple threat match. The Rhodes brothers were not there. Before their match, The New Age Outlaws did their usual promo hyping the fans which did work. Even though they are heels, most of the fans loved the New Age Outlaws. This was a real interesting match and the crowd was into it.

Del Rio cuts a promo backstage on facing Batista later in the night.

* Daniel Bryan, Sheamus & Christian defeated The Shield. Daniel got the biggest reaction of the night. 95% of the crowd were on their feet doing the he's chant. Even though I'm not a critic, I award this match of the night. It was one of the only matches which had my attention the entire time. The match went about 25 minutes and I think that each performer in this match gave it their all.

After the match, Kane comes out to the ring after the match and Daniel Bryan asks Kane to hug it out, but Kane wanted an apology for what happened on Raw last week. Bryan attacks Kane, who then attempts to go for the chokeslam before being countered and beaten out the ring. Bryan leaves the ring to "Yes!" chants.

* Bray Wyatt defeated Dolph Ziggler with Sister Abigail. Ziggler was billed from Arizona as opposed to Hollywood, Florida. However, it does make sense because Ziggler lives in Arizona. After the match, fans cheered for Ziggler as he (Kayfabe) struggled out of the ring.

* Batista defeated Alberto Del Rio via DQ. Entertaining match and the crowd was behind Batista throughout. At one point, Batista moved out of the way right as Del Rio was about to deliver a dropkick. This caused Del Rio to dive between the second and third rope. Del Rio was DQ'd and attempted to hit Batista with a chair, but Batista countered with a Batista Bomb. Del Rio exited the ring and went into the first few rows. Because I had floor seats, he was five feet away. On his way out, Batista slapped hands with all the fans ringside and up and down the ramp.

* WWE World Heavyweight Champion Randy Orton defeated John Cena in a steel cage match. Throughout the match Orton played to the crowd as the heel he is. Orton attempted the punt kick right as Cena moved out of the way so that he could deliver the AA. As Cena put Orton in the STF, Orton was able to crawl to the cage door and almost escape, but Cena stopped him. Cena was pushed into the ref and this allowed Orton to low blow Cena and leave the cage, via the door to win the match. If this match had anyone else, they would have been booed out of the arena. It wasn't that good. My friend who went with me, was able to guess some of the spots before they happened. And I was able to predict the ending.

After the match, Orton told the fans not to leave yet, because he deserved respect. Eventually Cena got up and slammed the door in Orton, causing him to fall back and Cena gave him an AA. Cena then climbed to the top of the cage to celebrate.</div>
