The online feud between Chris Jericho and Superstar Billy Graham has been going on for years.
It started when Jericho openly criticised the legend in one of his books. A friend of Graham had heard about the comments online and told him. Graham bought the book, and was offended by the remarks. Graham then released a YouTube video, where he seemingly recited a poem dedicated to Jericho. He repeatedly compared Jericho to the devil and a false prophet. He also said that he hoped that Jericho died in the near future, so he would wind up in hell sooner.
Jericho tried to dismiss the comments on Twitter by claiming that Superstar had a number of personal problems in his home life. Since then, Graham has noted that he thinks Jericho is the most overrated performer in interviews.
The feud picked up again after CM Punk's recent promo on Raw. Punk, while in character, criticized many huge names of the past century. One of the targeted legends was Bruno Sammartino, a man directly responsible for the WWE's success in their first decade of business. Graham took the remarks very seriously. His comments can be read in the link below.
The majority of the wrestling industry understood that Punk was in character, and felt that it was a brilliant promo. Paul Heyman and Chris Jericho were the only two to openly acknowledge his remarks. Graham again took personal offense at Jericho directing any form of comment towards him.
